AIMS APAC REIT (SGX:O5RU) is advancing sustainability initiatives, targeting a 42% reduction in Scope 2 carbon emissions by FY30, according to a Thursday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The trust is rolling out phase 2 of its rooftop solar panel installation across three Singapore properties, with a total capacity of 3.65 MWp, set to cut nearly 2,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, the filing said.
EV charging stations have been added at four properties, and energy-efficient smart LED lighting is now operational at 20 Gul Way. A smart metering system is also being deployed across 15 properties to provide real-time energy data.
