Equifax Australasia reaffirmed the financial strength rating of General Capital's (NZE:GEN) subsidiary, General Finance, at "BB" with a stable outlook, according to a Tuesday filing with the New Zealand bourse.
The move reflects General Finance's "increased scale, healthy earnings, and sound capital and funding profile," the filing stated.
General Capital's shares fell almost 6% at market close Tuesday.
