OM Holdings (ASX:OMH) resumed workshop and furnace operations at its Malaysian manganese facility following an incident last month where overflowing molten material came in contact with water, releasing pressurized steam, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Following clearances from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department and the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, the affected workshops and furnaces will now continue production, the filing said.
The company maintained its production guidance of 460,000 to 490,000 tonnes for the year, per the filing. It said that the incident had no material impact on its finances and operations.
Company shares rose past 4% in recent Wednesday trade.
