Cintas posted higher revenue in its latest quarter, prompting the company to once again raise its outlook for its fiscal year.
The Cincinnati provider of uniform-rental and other services logged net income of $448.5 million, or $1.09 a share, for the second quarter ended Nov. 30, up from $374.6 million, or 90 cents a share, a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected $1.01 a share in earnings.
Revenue climbed 7.8% to $2.56 billion from $2.38 billion a year ago. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected $2.56 billion.
Cintas guided for full fiscal 2025 revenue in the range of $10.26 billion to $10.32 billion, and earnings per share of between $4.28 and $4.34. It had previously guided for revenue between $10.22 billion and $10.32 billion, and earnings per share in the range of $4.17 to $4.25.
