Dotz Nano (ASX:DTZ) bagged an order for DotzShield worth AU$340,000, marking the first commercial sale for the company's proprietary in-product tagging technology, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The order is from ChampionX, a US-based provider of oilfield technologies.
DotzShield is designed to detect and quantify corrosion inhibitors within oilfield premises, enabling on-site dosage management, per the filing.
The nanotechnology company's shares were down 7% in recent Wednesday trade.
