RocketBoots (ASX:ROC) appointed Roy McKelvie as Independent, Non-Executive Chairman, effective immediately, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

McKelvie succeeds Hugh Bradlow, the filing said.

The company also said it will raise AU$500,000 via the issue of 5.9 million new shares to sophisticated investors at AU$0.085 per share.

A AU$200,000 investment will be made by the Chair to cornerstone the capital raise, subject to shareholder approval, the filing added.

Proceeds will be used for sales expansion with enterprise customers and general working capital.
