Bank of China (SHA:601988, HKG:3988) has completed the issue of 10 billion yuan of non-capital green bonds in China's interbank bond market, a Tuesday bourse filing said.

The fixed-rate bonds have a four-year term and a 1.78% coupon rate. The issuer can conditionally redeem them at the end of the third year.

The bank will use the proceeds from the issue to improve its total loss-absorbing capacity, as well as for green industry projects.
