Austal's (ASX:ASB) Australian arm won a AU$137 million contract extension for the construction of two additional Evolved Cape-class patrol boats for the Australian Border Force, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Austal Australia has so far delivered eight of the 12 contracted Evolved Cape-class patrol boats, per the filing. Two vessels are currently under construction at Austal's shipyard Henderson in Western Australia.
