Maanshan Iron & Steel (HKG:0323, SHA:600808) has scrapped 1,234 fixed asset items, a Dec. 20 bourse filing said.
The original and net values of the scrapped assets stood at 2.73 billion yuan and 344 million yuan, respectively.
The fixed assets were scrapped mainly due to the dismantling of old equipment for production line renovation, elimination of outdated equipment, and scrapping after physical identification.
