Eversource Energy (ES) said Tuesday it bought a 26-acre portion of the Mystic property in Massachusetts from Constellation Energy (CEG).

Eversource said it will work with Massachusetts and other stakeholders over the coming year to establish a plan for the property to improve electric reliability in New England.

The deal is not expected to have any immediate impacts to customer bills, the company said.
