1004 GMT - Singapore shares closed lower, dragged by banks and REITs. Singapore's industrial production dropped 0.4% on month in November as weakness in the volatile pharmaceutical sector offset the strong electronics output, UOB associate economist Jester Koh writes in a note. Among the top decliners, Jardine Matheson declined 1.7% and OCBC lost 0.6%. CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust fell 0.5% and Mapletree Industrial Trust shed 0.45%. Seatrium led gains, rising 4.1%, after it secured a floating production unit contract from BP earlier this week. Thai Beverage rose 0.9%. The benchmark FTSE Straits Times Index fell 0.2% to end at 3761.45. (jiahui.huang@wsj.com; @ivy_jiahuihuang)
