Xinyi Solar (HKG:0968) and Xinyi Glass (HKG:0868) have renewed their silica sand agreement for 2025, extending the arrangement from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025, according to its Monday filing.
Under this agreement, a subsidiary of Xinyi Solar will continue supplying silica sand to the XYG Group for float glass production.
As Xinyi Glass is a major shareholder of Xinyi Solar, these transactions are considered continuing connected transactions under the Listing Rules.
The transactions require reporting and announcement due to their percentage ratio, but are exempt from needing a circular and shareholder approval.
