Besra Gold (ASX:BEZ) received a notice of discontinuance from the Supreme Court of Ontario related to legal proceedings launched in September, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The legal proceedings relate to the mining firm's alleged oppressive behavior and its directors' alleged breach of fiduciary duties in the dealings with Quantum Metal Recovery, an earlier filing showed.
The court said that the plaintiffs Prana GP, Talisman 37, and Concept Capital Management discontinued the legal proceedings against the defendants "on a without prejudice and without costs basis."
