SkyCity Entertainment Group (ASX:SKC, NZE:SKC) said that the Acting South Australian Liquor and Gambling Commissioner for Consumer and Business Services has extended the deadline for the completion of the independent review of its unit SkyCity Adelaide, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The commissioner announced that the report is now expected to be completed by the end of May 2025 from its previous deadline of Dec. 31, the filing said.
The company said it is not yet possible to predict the outcome of the review or any resulting regulatory actions until it has been completed.
Company shares slid 2% on market close.
