0616 GMT - Trip.com could benefit in 2025 from more public holidays in China and potentially more travel-related consumption vouchers from local governments, Citi analysts say in a research note. They project the Chinese online travel platform's 2025 revenue to grow 15%. Its 1Q top-line growth is likely to be solid due to a low base for outbound travel in 2024 and a longer Lunar New Year period this year if combined with weekends, the analysts say. Meanwhile, 4Q 2024 revenue may have risen 19% on year on stronger domestic, outbound and international segments, they say. Citi opens a 90-day positive catalyst watch for potential positive comments on 1Q performance during the upcoming 4Q 2024 results. Citi maintains a buy call on Trip.com but raises its ADR target to $78.00 from $73.00. Shares last closed at $64.77. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
