Tianjin Capital Environmental Protection (HKG:1065, SHA:600874) established a project company that will manage the phase II concession of the Wuhu Binjiang Sewage Treatment Plant in China, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Thursday.
The project company, Wuhu Tianchuang Water, signed the concession project contract with the Wuhu Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau.
The project's franchise period will run for 40 years and the initial unit price of sewage treatment service fee is 1.21 yuan per cubic meter.
The company's consortium won the project, which included China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau Group and Anhui Sunyu Water.
The environmental protection services company will invest 55% of the project's capital, while China Railway Shanghai will manage 10% and Sunyu Water will contribute 35%.
