Ondas Holdings (ONDS) shares were surging 23% higher in recent Friday premarket activity after the company said its Ondas Autonomous Systems unit's American Robotics subsidiary had been granted an additional Federal Aviation Administration Beyond Visual Line of Sight waiver.
The company said the waiver allows its drones to fly over people and moving vehicles from a centralized remote operations center.
