Argent BioPharma (ASX:RGT) requested a trading halt for its shares pending a disclosure to be made by the company regarding a capital raise, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The shares will remain in a trading halt until the announcement is made or the start of normal trading on Jan. 7 or upon the release of the disclosure, the filing said.
