Hongrun Construction Group (SHE:002062) and its subsidiaries won the bid for an EPC general contracting project in Yangliu town in China's Anhui province.
The contract for the 170-megawatt tea plantation complementary photovoltaic power generation project is priced at 652.8 million yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The project involves the utilization of about 4,000 acres of tea plantations, construction of about 212.5-megawatt-peak photovoltaic power generation facilities as well as development of a supporting energy storage system and a new 220-kilovolt booster station.
Anhui Electric Power is the tenderer of the project.
Shares of the construiction company closed 2% higher Wednesday.
