Gold Road Resources Ltd (ASX:GOR) produced a record 91,631 ounces of gold from the Gruyere gold mine in Western Australia in the December quarter, superseding the 68,781 ounces produced during the previous quarter.

Production at Gruyere – operating through a 50:50 joint venture between Gold Road and Gruyere Mining Company – came in at around 287,270 ounces for 2024.

This haul was just slightly below guidance expectations, which had been set at between 290,000 and 305,000 ounces.

Additionally, gold sales from the project in WA’s Eastern Goldfields region reached 47,745 ounces at an average sales price of A$4,093 per ounce, while gold doré and bullion on hand on December 31, 2024 was approximately 1,782 ounces.

Processing data for the December quarter was also strong, with 2.4 million tonnes of ore from Gruyere being processed at a head grade of 1.28 g/t of gold, plus a gold recovery of 92.2% for the quarter.

Gold Road intends to release its December quarterly report later this month but has stated recent figures position it well in terms of production for 2025.

GOR shares have been trading at $2.09.
