Technology stocks were edging higher pre-bell Tuesday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) advancing by 0.3% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) up 0.8% recently.
Getty Images Holdings (GETY) and Shutterstock (SSTK) said they have signed a merger deal to form a combined entity valued at about $3.7 billion. Getty shares were up over 45% and Shutterstock shares rose 24% premarket.
Logitech G's Streamlabs (LOGI) said it is collaborating with Nvidia (NVDA) and Inworld AI to create an AI-powered streaming assistant designed to simplify live streaming. Logitech International shares were up over 3% pre-bell.
United Microelectronics (UMC) said its December revenue increased by 11.7% to 18.97 billion New Taiwan dollars ($580.1 million). United Microelectronics shares fell by more than 2% premarket.
