TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia-based e-commerce company Bukalapak announced on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, that it would be discontinuing its physical product buying and selling services on its marketplace. This strategic shift will see Bukalapak concentrate solely on virtual product offerings.

All orders that remain unprocessed by March 2, 2025, will be automatically canceled by the Bukalapak system. Furthermore, the company will ensure the return of all user balances and funds.
Moving forward, Bukalapak will entirely focus on its virtual product services, including prepaid credit, data packages, electricity tokens, postpaid electricity bills, pre-employment services, Bukasend, credit installments, BPJS Kesehatan (Indonesia's national health insurance), PDAM water bills, Telkom services, postpaid credit payments, cable TV and internet subscriptions, Land and Building Tax (PBB) payments, state revenue payments, streaming vouchers, traffic fine payments, Income Tax (PPh) payments, PPN (Value Added Tax/VAT) payments, PPh 21 (Income Tax) payments, SBN (State Treasury Securities) payments, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Indonesia's social security agency) fees, BMoney, and digital gold vouchers.
