Dongfang Electric's (HKG:1072, SHA:600875) unit, Dongfang Electric Wind Power, disposed of 51% of power generation and construction subsidiary Mulei Dongxin New Energy for 929 million yuan, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
Sichuan Chuantou New Energy will acquire the stake.
After the completion of the transaction, Mulei Dongxin is no longer included in the Chinese power generation components company's consolidated financial statements, the filing said.
Dongfang Electric's Shanghai shares dropped more than 3% in recent trade.
