COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation (HKG:1138, SHA:600026) expects a net profit attributable to the equity holders of 3.96 billion yuan for 2024, 17% higher than 3.38 billion yuan logged for 2023, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The oil tanker shipping company attributed the expected increase to a positive trend in the international oil shipping market as a whole during the reporting period and a reduction in estimated losses compared with the previous year.
