Rich Lister Andrew Roberts has appointed Emma Shipley managing director and George Kostas executive chairman of Roberts Co, putting two close confidants at the helm of his ambitious contracting firm after the sudden departure of chief executive Matt Bourne.
The announcement – made to Roberts Co staff late on Thursday – marks a return to an executive role at the company for Ms Shipley, who served as inaugural chief financial officer with then-CEO Alison Mirams of Roberts Pizzarotti, as the company Mr Roberts co-founded in 2017 was then known.
