Wheaton Precious Metals (WPM) said late Thursday that it appointed Vincent Lau as chief financial officer.

Lau succeeds Gary Brown, who is stepping down from the role, effective March 31, the company said.

Lau is currently the vice president of finance for Wheaton Precious Metals.
