Weichai Power (SHE:000338, HKG:2338) has decided to repurchase and cancel granted but not unlocked 300,000 restricted shares held by a certain incentive participant with a budget of 1.7 million yuan, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The said incentive participant is subject to re-designation.

The company had, previously on Dec. 30, 2024, approved of repurchase and cancellation of about 1.6 million granted but not unlocked restricted shares held be eight incentive participants. These participants were subject to certain applicable circumstances such as re-designation or resignation.

Upon the completion of repurchase and cancellation, the company's registered capital will drop to around 8.72 billion yuan from about 8.73 billion yuan.
