Vertical Aerospace Appoints Domhnal Slattery as Chairman

Vertical Aerospace (EVTL) said Wednesday that it has appointed Domhnal Slattery as chairman of its board of directors, effective immediately.

Slattery rejoins the board after previously serving as chairman from January 2022 to August 2023. He founded Avolon and SMBC Aviation and is also the chief executive officer and chairman of Clahane Capital.

Outgoing Chairman Stephen Welch will continue to serve on the Vertical board as a non-executive director.
