Cosco Shipping Holdings (HKG:1919, SHA:601919) expects a net profit attributable to shareholders of 49.1 billion yuan for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024, 105.71% higher than 23.9 billion yuan logged for the prior year, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The shipping company attributed the expected increase to an increase in the volume and freight rate of its container shipping business during the reporting period.
