CapitaLand Investment Names Tan Choon Siang Deputy CEO of CICT, Yong Su-Lin CEO of CMR

This appointment of new key executives comes after the recent appointment of Gerry Chan as CEO of CapitaLand China Trust Management among others.

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) has appointed Tan Choon Siang as deputy chief executive officer of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust Management, the manager of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT), according to a bourse filing dated Jan 14. 

Tan is currently the chief executive officer of CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management (CMRM), the manager of CapitaLand Malaysia Trust, and will relinquish the role to Yong Su-Lin on Feb 1. 

Yong, who was previously the managing director of Malaysia and China and an interim chief financial officer, Asia of Lendlease Group, will assume the position of CEO CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management on Feb 1. 

Tan will assist the CEO of the manager of CICT, Tony Tan, after he assumes his new role. 

Other appointments within CapitaLand Investments have also been announced. Yvonne Siew will be appointed managing director & head, product development and wealth markets, private capital markets, with effect from Jan 22. 

Siew will lead all product development, client services and marketing communications for CLI’s private funds. Prior to joining CLI, Siew was head of real estate advisory and investments at the Bank of Singapore. 

CLI also recently announced the appointment of Gerry Chan as chief executive officer of CapitaLand China Trust Management, the manager of CapitaLand China Trust with effect from Jan 1. He succeeded Tan Tze Wooi who is now group risk officer of CLI. 

CLI also appointed Ervin Yeo as chief executive officer, commercial management on Jan 1. He is concurrently CLI’s group chief strategy officer.

Shares in CLI closed 1 cent higher or 0.408% up at $2.46 on Jan 14.
