CR Construction's (HKG:1582) chairman and executive director Guan Manyu purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of the company for around HK$0.479 apiece on Thursday, a same-day bourse filing said.

The shares represent roughly 0.1% of the builder's issued share capital.

Following the acquisition, Guan holds a total of 3.5 million, or 0.7%, shares in the firm.
