PWR Holdings (ASX:PWH) said its North American unit, C&R Racing, secured a $5.5 million order to supply advanced cooling solutions for a US government project, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The order will be manufactured at the company's Australian and North American sites, with delivery scheduled for this year.

This is the firm's largest single order for the aerospace and defense sector since it built its own team in 2020, according to its managing director, Kees Weel.

PWR Holdings' shares jumped 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
