Ready Capital Launches $150M Share Buyback Program

Ready Capital will purchase up to $150 million of the company's common stock under a new buyback plan.

The real estate finance company said on Thursday that the plan was approved by its board of directors. Ready Capital has a market cap of $1.13 billion, 168.53 million shares outstanding and a public float of 166.9 million shares.

The company's shares ended Thursday's regular session up 1% at $6.75. The stock was up 1.1% after the close to $6.75.
