Hon Hai Precision (TPE:2317) unit Fullertain Information Technologies acquired a 100% stake in Saigon STEC for $10.4 million, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The stake will be purchased from Sharp Sensing Technology.
The deal aims to expand the chipmaker's business.
