Yankuang Energy Group (HKG:1171, SHA:600188) subsidiary Yancoal Australia (HKG:3668, ASX:YAL) produced 9.7 million tons of saleable coal in the fourth quarter of 2024, the same as a year ago, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Yancoal Australia sold 10.4 million tons of coal during Q4, 3% higher than 10.1 million tons sold in the same period in the previous year.
The average realized price for the sold coal for the December 2024 quarter came in at AU$176 per ton, 10% lower than AU$196 per ton recorded for the fourth quarter of 2023.
