China Telecom (HKG:0728, SHA:601728) saw a rise of a little over 2.1 million in 5G package subscribers in December 2024, bringing its 5G user base to 351.5 million as of Dec. 31, 2024, a Monday bourse filing said.
The telco's mobile subscribers increased by 820,000 in the reporting month, with its total mobile users reaching 424.5 million.
The firm added 630,000 wireline broadband subscribers for the month, bringing the total to 197.4 million as of the end of the reporting month.
