Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer Li Auto (HKG:2015) opened a research and development (R&D) hub in Munich, Germany, Xinhua reported Saturday.
The Munich facility will develop next-generation technologies such as vehicle design, power semiconductors, and smart chassis systems, tailored to meet European automotive regulations and consumer preferences, the Chinese government-owned newspaper reported.
Li Auto said the first-ever overseas center marks the start of its global strategy, Xinhua reported.
