Strong Petrochemical (HKG:0852) has appointed Li Haiqiang as its chief domestic affair coordinator, effective Thursday, a same-day bourse filing stated.
The appointment comes as Strong Petrochemical aims to further strengthen the internal control of the company and avoid the recurrence of incidents such as the misappropriation of its assets and improper transfer of funds and non-cooperation of the financial reporting of certain subsidiaries.
Such incidents are suspected to have taken place in recent months.
