Graham Holdings' board has raised the education and media services company's quarterly dividend by 4.7%, to $1.80 from $1.72.
The new payout, equal to $7.20 a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.8% based on Thursday's trading price of $902, up from about 0.76%.
The Arlington, Va., company said the increased dividend is payable Feb. 20 to shareholders of record Feb. 3.
