Iceni Gold (ASX:ICL) said assays from air-core drilling at its 14 Mile Well gold project in Western Australia resulted in downhole intervals of "significant" gold mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
A fourth air-core drilling campaign comprising 64 vertical holes for 4,450 meters of drilling was completed in November 2024, the filing stated.
Five holes from this program intersected gold mineralization of over 1 gram per tonne (g/t) grade of gold, with intersections including 4 meters at 2.1 g/t grade of gold from 64 meters and 1 meter at 4.5 g/t grade of gold from 71 meters to end-of-hole.
It added that the firm and Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) are planning and preparing for a major campaign of reverse circulation drilling at Guyer North.
The firm's shares fell over 1% in recent trading on Thursday, while Gold Road Resources' shares were down almost 2%.
