BERLIN, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Germany and Europe should continue on the path of expanding low-carbon energies during the second presidency of Donald Trump, a climate change sceptic, outgoing German vice chancellor Robert Habeck said on Tuesday.

Habeck, speaking at the Handelsblatt annual energy conference in Berlin ahead of the Feb. 23 election, said Trump's withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement was "fatal."

"We have to bring our own technologies to the fore," said Habeck, the architect of plans to make 80% of electricity green in Germany by 2030.
