Tamboran Resources (ASX:TBN) started stimulation activities of two wells in its Beetaloo Basin exploration permit in the Northern Territory, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The firm is planning to pump up to 119 stimulation stages across the two wells with reduced spacing between stages over a full lateral length of 15,193 feet across the two wells, an average of about 127 ft per stimulated stage.

The first well is planned to include 43 stages over a horizontal section of 5,427 ft, and the second well is planned to include 76 stages over a horizontal section of 9,766 ft. All stages are being pumped with a slickwater fluid design.

Production is expected to feed into the proposed 40 million standard cubic feet per day Shenandoah South pilot project, Chief Executive Joel Riddle said.
