Shares of LG Electronics (KRX:066570) jumped nearly 5% in Wednesday's morning trade after it unveiled the LG PuriCare AeroBooster air care solution on Tuesday, according to a company release on the same day.

The product comes with the Aero Series V Filter, which removes dust, odors, bacteria, and viruses, and delivers clean air up to 5.5 meters with dual airflow and clean booster technology, according to the release.

The air care solution also eliminates 99.99% of bacteria from fan surfaces, while a built-in ionizer neutralizes airborne pollutants, the release said.
