WA1 Resources to Resume Field Activities at Western Australian Niobium Deposit

WA1 Resources (ASX:WA1) said fieldwork at the Luni niobium deposit at its West Arunta project in Western Australia is expected to restart in February with a diamond drilling rig and site infrastructure on site, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The firm conducted drilling on the deposit in the December 2024 quarter for resource definition, core samples collection, and monitoring bores installation.

Drilling in the deposit returned niobium intersections, including intercepts of 20 meters at 6.4% niobium pentoxide from a depth of 68 meters and 40 meters at 3.3% niobium pentoxide from 65 meters.

The firm also completed gravity and passive seismic surveying activities at its Madura project in Western Australia.
