China Shipbuilding Industry (SHA:601989) projected a turn to profit in 2024 due to enhanced efficiency and profitability, with shorter construction cycles for civil vessels and more ships delivered.
The shipbuilder expects 2024 attributable net profit to range between 1.15 billion yuan and 1.35 billion yuan, compared with the loss of 786.7 million yuan the previous year, according to a Jan. 25 filing with the Shanghai bourse.
