US President Donald Trump is holding talks with several individuals over the sale of TikTok, with the decision on the future of the video app to be out within the next 30 days, Reuters reported Saturday.
Trump said there is "great interest in TikTok," the report said, citing remarks made aboard Air Force One.
Reuters earlier said the Trump administration is looking into tapping Oracle and other outside investors to effectively take control of TikTok, the report said.
Under the deal, ByteDance will still retain a stake in the US operations, but Oracle will take charge of data collection and software updates, the report said.
Oracle is already the provider of TikTok's web infrastructure foundation, the report said.
