Seatrium (SGX:5E2) was awarded a heavy lift vessel contract by Japan-based Penta Ocean Construction, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Monday.
The contract entails the engineering, procurement and construction of a 5,000-ton fully-revolving Heavy Lift Vessel project for the Japanese offshore wind market.
The vessel will be the fifth and largest vessel to be added to the Japanese company's fleet.
