Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) said assay results from its 2024 drilling program resulted in high-grade thick lithium intercepts at its Falcon Lake lithium project in Ontario, Canada, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
This included intercepts of 54.1 meters at 1.7% grade of lithium oxide from 100.9 meters downhole, as well 56 meters at a grade of 1.5% lithium oxide from 222.2 meters downhole.
The assays represent the firm's best lithium drill results to date, the filing noted.
The company noted the potential for expanding mineralized zones via the exploration of targets identified through geophysical surveys and surface sampling. Future drilling programs will focus on systematically testing these targets, the filing said.
The firm's shares fell a little over 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
