Larsen & Toubro (NSE:LT, BOM:500510) has received a "significant" order to build a AI-enabled and sustainable 10-MW data center at Tashkent in Uzbekistan, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The company did not disclose the financial details of the contract, however, it classifies "significant" orders as those between 10 billion Indian rupees and 25 billion rupees.
Under the contract, L&T will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of the proposed data center, through its L&T Buildings & Factories vertical.
Shares of the company were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
