Magnis Energy Technologies (ASX:MNS) said its US units, IM3NY and Imperium3 New York, have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection under the US Bankruptcy Code, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The Chapter 11 filing allows the companies to restructure their debts while continuing operations in a bid to return to profitability, the filing said.
